These adjusters come fully assembled and ready to go.  They are available in compression (gold) and rebound (silver).  The only difference between the compression and rebound assemblies is the color, otherwise they are interchangeable.  

The large (2.2mm) bleed version is now the only available option and has always come stock in new shocks.
